Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has said that PTI Founder Imran Khan’s eye treatment is continuing on the recommendations of prison doctors, with the second injection scheduled for February 25.
In an exclusive interview with Samaa TV, the minister assured that the government is fully fulfilling its responsibility regarding the former prime minister’s medical care.
Chaudhry clarified that the ongoing eye treatment is being carried out strictly on the recommendations of jail doctors. He emphasized that the government is ensuring that proper medical protocols are followed and that there is no negligence in the process.
“The government is fulfilling its responsibility for the treatment of the founder’s eye,” he stated.
Second, third injections scheduled
According to the minister, Imran Khan will receive his second injection on February 25. The third injection is scheduled for March 25. Both injections are part of the prescribed treatment plan recommended by medical professionals.
He said the injections will be administered at the best hospitals in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. He mentioned that Shifa Hospital or another top-tier medical facility may be used for the procedure.
The minister assured that the treatment will take place in a well-equipped hospital environment to ensure safety and quality care.
Best doctors to handle
The minister further stated that the medical team responsible for administering the injections will consist of the best doctors. He stressed that experienced specialists will oversee the procedure to guarantee proper treatment.
