After the end of the winter holidays, the government and private schools have reopened across Sindh.
In Umerkot, both government and private schools also reopened. However, attendance remained below normal due to an increase in cold weather. School administrations appealed to parents to send students to school with necessary precautions in view of the cold.
It is pertinent to note that according to a spokesperson for the Education Department, winter holidays across the province were observed from December 22 to 31. All government and private educational institutions reopened according to routine from January 1.
