The Punjab School Education Department has extended the deadline for submitting applications for the recruitment of School Teacher Interns (STIs) after technical issues surfaced on the online portal.
According to an official notification, candidates can now submit their applications until 26 November, while the merit list would be displayed on 1 December.
The notification further states that appointment orders for the final selected candidates would be issued on 6 December.
It is noteworthy that applications for the recruitment of 15,000 candidates were initially opened from 12 November to 21 December. However, due to repeated technical glitches on the portal, the department decided to extend the deadline.
