Gold medallist athlete Arshad Nadeem and silver medallist Yaser Sultan have returned to the country after their recent achievements at the Islamic Solidarity Games.
Talking to the media, Arshad Nadeem expressed gratitude to everyone for their support while also thanking the Pakistan Sports Board and the Athletics Federation for their backing.
“By the prayers of the nation, Almighty has blessed me with a gold medal,” Arshad said. “I don’t have my own javelin and whenever used to borrow Arshad's javelin for preparation,” Yaser lamented before emphasizing that equipment like javelins should be properly arranged by the Sports Board and the Federation. He added that if players have quality equipments, they can bring more of these medals for their country."
