Advisor to the prime minister, Rana Sanaullah, has said that no province or individual can halt any operation.
Speaking during the programme "Samaa Debate", Sanaullah claimed that terrorists were receiving complete support from India. He stated that the ongoing conflict would persist until terrorism is completely eradicated.
He remarked that no province or the chief minister has the authority to engage in direct communication with another country. He said they would not be permitted to hold talks with Afghanistan. According to Sanaullah, Sohail Afridi would not be able to manage the situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Ali Amin Gandapur was removed because he failed to meet the party’s expectations.
Sanaullah commented that it remained uncertain whether Sohail Afridi would be appointed as the KP chief minister. He said opposition parties had also become active, and discussions were ongoing with a reported group of 8 to 10 individuals expressing willingness to meet the opposition. Any potential agreement, he said, would not proceed without proper communication. He said that if the entire provincial opposition unites, the situation could be resolved.
He accused PTI of not engaging in politics but rather inciting "unrest". He said the party’s approach was rooted in violence and undemocratic conduct. He asserted that there is a constitutional and democratic government in place, and PTI could sit with the government to address national issues.
Regarding Azad Kashmir, Sanaullah said there were various public demands related to health, construction and development. The prime minister, he added, had received a list of demands concerning public interest. He added that the matter of refugee seats was constitutional, and agreement had been reached on forming a six-member committee to address the issue of the six refugee seats.
