Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan has extended heartfelt congratulations to the nation and the Muslim world on the auspicious occasion of 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal.
In his special message, Abdul Aleem Khan said the bright teachings and perfect example of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) remain a guiding torch for humanity. He emphasized that following the Prophet’s principles is essential for success in both this world and the hereafter.
He noted that on this sacred day, Muslims must renew their pledge to make the world a cradle of peace. He added that the message of love, brotherhood, and harmony given by the Prophet (ﷺ) should be conveyed to the entire world.
Abdul Aleem Khan also urged citizens to remember families affected by floods in their special prayers, stressing unity and compassion as key values of Islam.
Pays tribute to armed forces on defense day
The minister also paid tribute to the armed forces of Pakistan on the occasion of Defense Day (September 6), hailing it as a proud moment in the nation’s history.
In his message, the minister said September 6, 1965, is a glorious and memorable day for every Pakistani, symbolizing courage, sacrifice, and resilience. He stated that the sacrifices made by the armed forces in defense of the homeland remain unforgettable.
Abdul Aleem Khan praised Field Marshal Hafiz Syed Asim Munir, saying he has created new history with decisive leadership. He pointed out that the Pakistan Army’s capabilities were demonstrated through Operation Banyan Marsus, highlighting its strategic strength.
The IPP president reaffirmed that the nation stands firmly with the Pakistan Army for the stability and sovereignty of the country. He also noted that the military continues to support citizens in difficult times, including assisting flood victims across Pakistan.
