The country’s exports of sports goods reached a 32-month high in July, driven by a sharp rise in footballs and sports gloves shipments.
According to documents, the total value of sports goods exported during July stood at $38.9 million, the highest level since October 2022.
The data show a 32.50 per cent increase in exports of sports items compared to previous months. The last significant growth in this sector was recorded in October 2022, when exports rose by 35.52 per cent.
In contrast, the same category had seen a 22.86 per cent decline in April this year.
Exports of footballs rose by 44.70 per cent in July, reaching a value of $25.72 million.
Exports of players’ gloves also recorded an increase of 9.18 per cent, with the total value for the month amounting to $5.029 million.
