Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman have expressed grave concerns over the continued brutal attacks on the Palestinians.
According to details, both the leaders held a telephonic conversation to discuss the ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza. The prime minister condemned Israel’s blockade of humanitarian aid to Gaza, highlighting that the restrictions have caused severe food shortages.
He said that Pakistan would continue to raise the issue at all international forums, standing as the voice of the oppressed Palestinian people.
The prime minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to provide moral and diplomatic support to the victims of Zionist aggression and vowed to persist in opposing Israel’s inhumane actions on every global platform.
He also commended the efforts of the JI and the Alkhidmat Foundation for sending aid to those affected in Gaza.
Rehman said: "The people of Palestine, along with the wider Muslim world, place great hope in Pakistan and its leadership."
