The Meteorological Department has forecast rain and thunderstorms in several districts of Balochistan, while most parts of the province are expected to remain hot and dry.
According to the Met Office, scattered rain and stormy weather may affect different areas as temperatures remain high in several districts, including Sibi, Turbat and Nokundi.
The Met Department said weather is likely to remain dry and hot in most districts of Balochistan. However, some parts of the province may receive rain, while thunderstorms are also expected in selected areas.
Officials said residents should remain cautious in areas where stormy weather has been forecast.
Rain likely in several districts
According to the forecast, rain is likely in Kalat, Jhal Magsi, Jafarabad, Loralai and Sohbatpur. The Met Office also predicted rain in Naseerabad, Qila Saifullah, Qila Abdullah, Harnai, Sibi, Barkhan, Khuzdar and Dera Bugti.
These areas may experience changing weather conditions despite the overall hot and dry pattern across the province.
Thunderstorms also expected
Thunderstorms are likely in Zhob, Sherani, Ziarat and Kohlu, according to the Meteorological Department. Officials said these areas may witness gusty winds and thunder activity along with possible rainfall.
The forecast indicates that northern and central parts of Balochistan could be affected by unstable weather conditions.
The maximum temperature in Quetta was recorded at 35 degrees Celsius, while Kalat reported 30 degrees Celsius. In Ziarat, the maximum temperature was recorded at 23 degrees Celsius, while Zhob recorded 32 degrees Celsius.

Sibi remained among the hottest places in the province, with the temperature reaching 45 degrees Celsius.
Turbat recorded a maximum temperature of 43 degrees Celsius, while Nokundi reported 41 degrees Celsius and Chaman recorded 35 degrees Celsius.
Coastal areas remain relatively moderate
In the coastal belt of Balochistan, temperatures remained comparatively lower than inland areas. Gwadar recorded a maximum temperature of 33 degrees Celsius, while Jiwani reported 34 degrees Celsius.
The Met Office said weather conditions may vary across the province, with hot temperatures inland and relatively moderate conditions along the coast.
