Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said Iran’s national interests remain a red line in negotiations, stressing that Tehran will not compromise on the rights, dignity and sovereignty of the Iranian people.
His remarks come as senior Iranian officials signal a firm but respectful position ahead of talks, warning that unnecessary demands or violations of the agreement will not be tolerated.
Pezeshkian said Iran is confident of achieving success in negotiations while ensuring the protection of national interests. He said Tehran would safeguard the interests of the Iranian people as well as the resistance front during the diplomatic process.
According to the Iranian president, Iran will not compromise on national interests under any circumstances.
Negotiation team reviewing every point
Pezeshkian said Iran’s negotiation team is carefully paying attention to all points related to the talks. He emphasized that the team is working with full responsibility to protect Iran’s position and ensure that no matter of national importance is overlooked.
The president said Iran’s approach would remain based on dignity, strength and the protection of its strategic interests.
Araghchi vows to defend sovereignty
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also expressed determination to protect the country’s national interests. He said Iran would not compromise on its rights, dignity or sovereignty during negotiations.
Araghchi added that Iran’s foreign policy would move forward in accordance with the instructions of the Supreme Leader.
Iran to use full diplomatic capacity
The Iranian minister said the country’s diplomatic machinery would use its full capacity to defend Iran’s rights. He said Tehran’s diplomacy would remain focused on protecting national sovereignty while advancing negotiations in line with the country’s broader strategic position.
Araghchi’s remarks reinforced Iran’s message that talks must be conducted with respect for its rights and interests.
Qalibaf stresses full implementation of agreement
Iranian Parliament Speaker Baqir Qalibaf said implementing all provisions of the agreement is Iran’s first responsibility. He said full compliance with the agreement would be ensured under the instructions of the Supreme Leader.
Qalibaf emphasized that Iran would remain committed to the agreement as long as its provisions are respected.
Qalibaf warned that if the agreement is broken, Iran’s response will be tough and decisive. Iranian officials also made it clear that unnecessary demands or violations would not be tolerated during the negotiation process.
Tehran has indicated that while it is prepared to continue talks, it will respond firmly to any move that undermines its rights, dignity or sovereignty.
