Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi on Friday called for an FIR to be registered against Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, accusing him of involvement in the alleged torture of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) workers.
Speaking to the media, Kundi had criticised the KP chief minister, stating: “Those who talk about Riyasat-e-Madinah are providing shelter to thieves. None of the ministers, officers or the chief minister himself have been held accountable for their involvement in malpractice.”
He further claimed: “Scandals involving billions of rupees have surfaced. It’s as if Ali Baba and the forty thieves are ruling KP.”

Separately, CM Gandapur launched a scathing attack on the federal government and state institutions, accusing them of destroying Pakistan’s economy, undermining the Constitution, and pushing the country toward authoritarianism.
Addressing the media in Rawalpindi on Thursday, Gandapur criticized the ruling elite for taking turns in power and leaving the country in economic ruins. “They have destroyed the country and the economy by taking turns,” he said. “Now they’ve amended laws to wipe out what little was left of the Constitution.”
