The Kashmir Council Europe organized a conference in Brussels to discuss the Kashmir situation and its ideological connection with Pakistan, bringing together prominent speakers and regional experts.
Dr. Manzoor Zahoor, former Member of Parliament, emphasized the need for increased international attention to the Kashmir issue during his address at the conference. He stated that the struggle for Kashmiri self-determination would continue, calling for stronger diplomatic engagement at the global level.
Belgium Press Club President Chaudhry Imran Saqib presented poetry highlighting the humanitarian situation in Kashmir. In his remarks, Saqib stressed that the sacrifices made by Kashmiris cannot be forgotten, emphasizing the historical context of the region's struggles.
The conference participants unanimously called on the international community to take notice of human rights concerns in Kashmir and work toward a fair resolution of the longstanding issue.
"The voice of the Kashmiri people cannot be suppressed," Dr. Zahoor said during his keynote address, emphasizing the importance of diplomatic dialogue and international mediation.
The event concluded with attendees expressing solidarity and reaffirming their commitment to raising awareness about the Kashmir situation at international forums.
Multiple speakers at the conference urged the global community to play a more active role in addressing humanitarian concerns and working toward a just resolution of the Kashmir issue through diplomatic channels.
