President Asif Ali Zardari is set to embark on a four-day official visit to China from February 4 to 8 at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
This visit comes as part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen the longstanding relationship between Pakistan and China, particularly in the realms of trade, security, and regional cooperation.
A spokesperson from the Pakistani Foreign Office confirmed the dates and outlined the key aspects of the visit.
During his stay in China, President Zardari is expected to hold crucial meetings with President Xi Jinping, Prime Minister Li Keqiang, and other senior Chinese officials.
Discussions will center on a variety of issues, including the expansion of bilateral economic ties, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), and strategies for enhanced cooperation in counter-terrorism and security matters.
The visit comes at a time of changing geopolitical dynamics in the region and globally, and both countries are anticipated to address these developments in their discussions.
As part of his trip, President Zardari will also attend the opening ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Games, further underscoring the diplomatic and cultural significance of the visit.
