A 27-member delegation from the National Defence University’s National Security and War Course visited Miranshah in North Waziristan on a one-day tour. During the visit, participants were briefed on the region’s overall security situation, efforts for peacebuilding, and ongoing development projects.
The delegation, led by senior officials, attended a session where Major General Adil Iftikhar, General Officer Commanding Miranshah, provided detailed responses to their questions regarding the current initiatives in the area.
The itinerary also included visits to the Fata-ul-Kharaj Center and Tochi Museum, where the participants were introduced to local history and relevant programs in the region.
The group also visited the Martyrs' Monument in Miranshah, where they laid a floral wreath and observed a moment of silence.
The visit aimed to familiarize participants with the measures being taken in the region concerning security and development, offering insights into the current status of these efforts.
