Taking to Instagram, Sidharth shared the film’s trailer and praised Kiara’s dedication, saying he was excited to see her performance on the big screen.
Sidharth posted the 'Toxic' trailer on his Instagram Story following its launch in Bengaluru on August 8. Alongside the trailer, the actor wrote, “The effort, the grind, the passion… it’s all going to show on the big screen,” highlighting the hard work behind the film.
Addressing Kiara directly, Sidharth added, “Going to be one of your bests Ki!!” followed by a heart and evil-eye emoji.

Kiara faces trolling after 'Toxic' trailer
Kiara Advani plays Nadia in the upcoming action-adventure film, which has generated significant online attention following the release of its official trailer.
The trailer, along with earlier promotional material including teaser and song content, sparked trolling over intimate and sensual scenes involving Kiara, particularly scenes featuring her character alongside Yash.
Despite the criticism, Kiara received support from her co-stars at the trailer launch.
At the August 8 launch event in Bengaluru, Yash and Nayanthara spoke positively about Kiara and her work in the film. Yash specifically defended Kiara’s performance and the movie’s bold approach, while Nayanthara also expressed her support for the actress.
Their comments came as Kiara faced criticism online over the nature of her role and some of the film’s more provocative sequences.
Kiara calls 'Toxic' a transformative experience
Kiara has previously described her experience working on 'Toxic' as a major turning point in her career. The actress said there would be “a Kiara before Toxic and a Kiara after Toxic,” reflecting the transformative nature of the role and the film.
The project is directed by Geetu Mohandas and stars Yash in a dual role alongside Kiara Advani, Nayanthara and Tara Sutaria.
'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups' features a large ensemble cast, including Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, Kyle Paul, Akshay Oberoi and Sudev Nair.
The film is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on August 26, with expectations high following the trailer’s release and the attention surrounding its performances and themes.
