Security forces have killed 15 terrorists in a series of intelligence-based operations across Balochistan under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, according to officials.
The operations were carried out in several districts, targeting militant hideouts and disrupting the network of terrorists. A large quantity of arms and ammunition was also recovered during the operations.
Security forces conducted multiple intelligence-based operations against terrorists in Mastung, Bolan, Washuk and Awaran, according to the information released.
Further operations were carried out in Sibi, Khuzdar, Harnai and Nushki, as security forces continued efforts to disrupt terrorist activity across the province.
The operations resulted in the killing of 15 terrorists, while a significant quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the militants.
Terrorist network suffers major setback
Officials said the successful operations inflicted severe damage on the terrorists network operating in Balochistan.
The recovery of a large number of arms and ammunition is expected to further disrupt the militants’ ability to carry out terrorist activities in the province.
Security forces remain determined to continue Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3 until terrorism is completely eradicated, according to the statement.
Mohsin Naqvi praises security forces
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi commended the security forces for their successful intelligence-based operations in Balochistan.
Naqvi particularly praised the forces for killing 15 terrorists and described their performance as a major achievement in the ongoing fight against terrorism.
He said the security forces had successfully foiled Fitna-ul-Hindustan and thwarted the “nefarious intentions” of Fitna al-terrorists.
The minister said the courage and bravery displayed by security forces in the fight against terrorism is a source of pride for the entire nation. He expressed confidence that the continued operations would further weaken terrorist networks operating in Balochistan.
“Inshallah, with the support of the nation, the terrorists of Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-terrorists will be completely eliminated from Balochistan,” Naqvi said.
Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3 to continue
Security forces have reiterated their determination to continue intelligence-based operations against terrorists under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3.
Officials said the campaign will continue until the terrorist threat is completely eliminated and peace and stability are restored across Balochistan.
