An 18-year-old student in Russia has been sentenced to five days in jail after allegedly ordering a pizza under the name Adolf Hitler and sharing prohibited symbols online.
The international media reports stated that the student used the name Adolf Hitler while placing a pizza order at a restaurant in a shopping centre. He was subsequently detained on charges of promoting Nazi symbols.
Reports stated that the suspect was arrested on college premises. He did not resist arrest and apologised for his actions.
Investigators also found that the student had drawn prohibited symbols on his desk and shared photographs of them in an online chat group.
Russian authorities said a local political figure had informed police about the incident.
Police said the young man admitted his mistake, stating that he had not fully understood the nature of his actions and had no intention of repeating them in the future.
