Veteran Pakistani actress, singer, and television host Bushra Ansari has candidly addressed long-standing speculation about her appearance, revealing that she underwent a minor cosmetic procedure to enhance the shape of her lips.
The actress shared the details during a recent makeup tutorial on her YouTube channel, where she discussed beauty tips and common questions she receives from fans.
Bushra Ansari explained that lip pencil plays an important role in her makeup routine, particularly because she naturally has thin lips. She said many people often ask whether she has had lip fillers or cosmetic surgery.
“I often get questions about lip surgery. Many people say, ‘What have you done to your lips?’” she said.
The actress clarified that she has not undergone extensive cosmetic procedures and credited a subtle aesthetic treatment for the fuller appearance of her lips.
'Just a slight outline'
According to Bushra, she consulted her aesthetician, Dr. Ayesha, for a minimal enhancement rather than traditional lip fillers.
“Because I have been in front of people for around 50 years, if I had done something major, everyone would immediately notice it,” she said.
She explained that she requested a slight outline around her lips to add definition, which she then enhances further with makeup.
“I asked her to give me a slight outline because my lips are thin. Then I apply makeup around that outline, which gives more body to my lips,” she added.
