Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has finally addressed ongoing speculation about her alleged feud with singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh, shutting down rumours while promoting her latest film Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata.
Her latest comments have once again brought their past social media clash into the spotlight.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with NDTV, Kangana Ranaut clarified that there is no personal animosity between her and Diljit Dosanjh.
She revealed that despite widespread speculation, the two artists have never actually met in person.
“We are not against each other. We just had contradictory opinions about a certain event. I’ve got nothing against the guy. We’ve never even met in life,” she said.
Her statement effectively put an end to ongoing rumours suggesting a continued feud between the two.
Old online clash during farmers’ protest resurfaces
The controversy between Kangana Ranaut and Diljit Dosanjh dates back to 2020, during the farmers’ protests against the new agricultural laws in India.
Their public disagreement on social media at the time led to a widely discussed online exchange, which later evolved into a perceived “feud” in media reports.
However, Kangana’s latest remarks suggest that the tension was more about differing opinions than a personal conflict.
Kangana reacts to Diljit Dosanjh’s new film
During the same conversation, Kangana was asked about Diljit Dosanjh’s recently released film Main Vaapas Aaunga.
Reacting with a laugh, she avoided giving a detailed review and said, “That’s too much, na?”
Her light response further reinforced her claim that there is no ongoing hostility between the two.
On the professional front, Kangana Ranaut has recently appeared in Manoj Tapadia’s film Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, which also explores themes related to the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.
Meanwhile, Diljit Dosanjh has collaborated with filmmaker Imtiaz Ali for his latest project Main Vaapas Aaunga, which was released on Friday, June 12.
Both stars continue to focus on their respective film careers despite past controversies.
