Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir met with Commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters Ali Abdollahi during his official visit to Iran.
The meeting focused on bilateral affairs and matters of mutual interest, with both sides engaging in detailed discussions on regional security and cooperation.
Iran thanks Pakistan for support
During the talks, Major General Ali Abdollahi expressed gratitude to the government and people of Pakistan.
He specifically acknowledged Pakistan’s support during what he described as the “second and third waves of U.S.-Israeli aggression,” signaling Tehran’s appreciation amid ongoing geopolitical tensions.
The Iranian commander emphasized that all equipment used during the recent conflict was domestically produced.
He credited Iranian youth for developing these capabilities and underscored that the country’s armed forces remain fully prepared for a “comprehensive defense” if further aggression continues.
