Dukhtaran-e-Millat chief Asiya Andrabi has been sentenced to life imprisonment in a fabricated terrorism case.
According to Kashmir Media Service, two of her associates also received sentences in the same case. Reacting strongly to the verdict, All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) senior leader Abdul Hameed condemned the decision of India’s biased court.
Naheed Nasreen and Fahmida Sofi were also sentenced to thirty years each. The Kashmiri women freedom leaders received punishments under draconian laws. Asiya Andrabi and other women continue their political struggle for the Kashmir cause.
