Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan on Sunday lauded the Pakistan Army’s decisive response to unprovoked firing from Afghan territory, saying it has once again exposed India’s role in destabilizing the region.
In a statement shared on social media platform X, Abdul Aleem Khan said that the Pakistan Army’s successful retaliatory operations against unprovoked infiltrators reflected the nation’s strength and resolve to defend its borders.
“The Pakistan Army gave a befitting reply to external aggression and made it possible to defend our beloved homeland,” the minister said.
He noted that the timing of the operation — coinciding with the Afghan foreign minister’s visit to India — was “meaningful and revealing,” asserting that it had become “clear that the Indian hand is behind the ongoing regional tensions.”
‘Pakistan faces same enemy from two sides’
The federal minister said that terrorism emanating from Afghanistan was unacceptable under any circumstances and that Pakistan’s armed forces are fully prepared to counter any threat.
“Our Shaheens remain alert 24 hours a day and will not allow any adventure. The Pakistan Army is facing the same enemy from two fronts but continues to protect the nation with courage and professionalism,” Abdul Aleem Khan said.
He paid rich tributes to the armed forces for their bravery and professionalism in defending the country’s sovereignty and maintaining regional stability despite continuous provocations.
