The Arab-Islamic emergency summit in Qatar issued a strong statement condemning Israel’s recent aggression, declaring it a serious threat to peace efforts in the region.
The joint announcement reaffirmed full support for Qatar’s sovereignty, while also highlighting Israel’s continued attacks on Gaza as a “cowardly attempt” to derail peace.
Full solidarity with Qatar
Summit participants assured Qatar of complete backing in defending its sovereignty. The statement rejected Israeli threats of future strikes against Doha, stressing that any attack on Qatar would be met with firm countermeasures.

The leaders described Israel’s aggression as a major obstacle to peace and pledged to work collectively against such violations. "Israel's attack on Qatar is an attempt to sabotage peace efforts in the region," stated the declaration.
Recognition of Qatar’s mediation efforts
The summit praised Qatar’s constructive and valuable role in efforts to end the war in Gaza, especially its mediation in ceasefire negotiations. Leaders stressed that Doha’s initiatives reflected a genuine commitment to regional stability and peace.
They also affirmed their support for Qatar’s continued diplomatic role, rejecting any attempts by Israel to undermine it.
Call for practical steps on Palestine
Reiterating their stance on the Palestinian cause, the leaders underlined that lasting peace cannot be achieved without addressing the Palestinian issue.

The statement called for practical steps to restore the rights of Jerusalem’s people and to uphold international agreements that guarantee their land.
Push for international action
The participants announced their support for suspending Israel’s UN membership, citing repeated violations of international law.
They also welcomed the recent two-state solution conference, to be held under the joint leadership of Saudi Arabia and France, as a pathway to a just and lasting resolution.
Unity against aggression
The summit emphasized that the Muslim world stands united against Israeli actions in Gaza and the attack on Qatar. Leaders agreed that a just peace is impossible while Israel continues its policies of occupation, aggression, and threats.
