Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday departed from Lahore to London via a foreign airline flight.
His trip is expected to last nearly two weeks, during which he will undergo medical examinations.
According to family sources, Nawaz Sharif left Lahore on Monday morning. He is scheduled to spend around two weeks in London.
The visit comes as part of his regular medical care, with doctors in the UK expected to conduct a series of routine check-ups.
Recent health concerns
A few days ago, the former PM visited the Punjab Institute of Neurosciences in Lahore. During his check-up, doctors carried out a neck MRI after Nawaz Sharif complained of muscle and neck pain.
These tests were part of his ongoing medical monitoring, which will now continue in London.
It is worth noting that Nawaz Sharif also traveled to London in June this year for medical consultations. His latest trip marks the second visit in recent months.
