Alibaba.com, a leading global business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce platform, launched its enhanced Trade Assurance 2.0 service in Pakistan.
The launch of Trade Assurance 2.0 was a key highlight, introducing major enhancements designed to empower Pakistani exporters.
The updated service directly addresses their needs by offering reduced transaction fees, free withdrawals, higher order and credit limits, and more payment options, empowering local businesses to conduct international trade with greater efficiency and security.

Chinese e-commerce giant also celebrated Pakistan’s top e-commerce businesses at the KEL Awards 2025 in a ceremony. SCCI Vice President Omer Khalid and National Incubation Center Islamabad Project Director Sayyed Ahmad Masud were present.
2025 year's top honors of Alibaba.com Pakistan Key E-commerce Leader were awarded to Muhammad Usman Humayun and Haider Ali, and Muhammad Azam Rahmat.
One of the six finalists, Muhammad Azam Rehmat, claimed that as a farmer's son, he began his two-person garments company in 2020, and he joined the platform in 2021. By leveraging the platform's ecosystem and securing a Verified tag, his company gained visibility, providing a direct channel to buyers worldwide.

Pakistan’s e-commerce market has experienced rapid growth in recent years, fueled by increased internet penetration, rising smartphone usage, and a young, tech-savvy population.
Online shopping platforms have gained significant traction, offering everything from electronics and fashion to groceries and household goods.
