The transporters increased on Tuesday the fares after the whopping hike in the prices of the petroleum products.
According to details, the transport fares have been increased from Lahore to Faisalabad, Bhalwal, Chakwal and Sialkot by up to Rs100 each.
With the surge, the fare to reach Sialkot from Lahore had reached Rs750, with an increase of Rs50.
The fare to reach Kotli from Lahore has increased by Rs300 to reach Rs2,300.

Earlier, the federal government has increased the price of petrol by Rs8.36 per litre for the next fortnight, effective from Tuesday, July 1.
According to details, the new petrol price has been fixed at Rs266.79 per litre.
