A phased plan has been announced to introduce 1,000 electric buses across the province, as part of the Sindh government’s 2025–26 budget.
According to details, this year, 500 electric buses will be launched on the roads of Karachi, for ensuring sustainable urban transport.
Additionally, the provincial government has proposed establishing charging stations for electric vehicles at public locations to support this green initiative.
