Pakistan T20I captain Salman Ali Agha was confident of an exciting series against Bangladesh, set to begin on Wednesday, May 28.
Speaking ahead of the three-match series, Agha said, “We had a productive practice session. Every player is keen to perform well as a unit. Many of our squad members recently excelled in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and we hope to carry that momentum into the series against Bangladesh.”
Meanwhile, Bangladesh captain Litton Das also expressed positive sentiments, stating, “We had a good training session upon arrival in Lahore. Everyone is focused and aware of the challenge Pakistan present. This series is an excellent opportunity for our younger players to prove themselves.”
He added, “We are selecting our squad with the upcoming T20 World Cup in mind, which is why this tour holds significant importance.”
The first T20I match between Pakistan and Bangladesh will take place tomorrow at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
