A head constable from Hazro Police Station has provided an official statement regarding injuries sustained during political protests that occurred between November 24-26. The officer, stationed at Ghazi Brotha Bridge, described the sequence of events leading to his injuries.
According to the official statement, protesters used heavy machinery and engaged in stone-pelting during the demonstration. The situation escalated, resulting in physical confrontation between protesters and security personnel.
The head constable reported being surrounded by demonstrators and subjected to physical assault. He stated that he was pushed into a deep ditch during the incident, which resulted in losing consciousness.
Medical examination revealed fractures to the officer's arm and hip. The head constable is currently receiving medical treatment and has expressed intent to return to duty after recovery.
