India and New Zealand meet in the Men's T20 World Cup final today, with the two sides set to contest supremacy in the shortest format of the game.
Both teams will take the field in Ahmedabad at 6:30pm local time. Before the final begins, renowned Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin will perform.
India’s only defeat in the tournament came against South Africa. New Zealand, meanwhile, lost to South Africa in the group stage and to England in the Super Eight stage.
The Black Caps beat South Africa by nine wickets in the semi-final, while India defeated England by seven runs.
India and New Zealand have played 30 T20 internationals against each other. India secured victory in 18 matches, New Zealand won 11, while one match ended level.
