Pakistan batter Hassan Nawaz has made a dream debut against the West Indies in the first ODI at the Brian Lara Academy in Tarouba on Friday.
According to details, Nawaz, who hails from Layyah, was brilliant with the bat on his debut, when the Green Shirts needed a crucial partnership to power to the victory against the home team.
Nawaz went on to compile an unbeaten 54-ball 63 and stitched a crucial partnership with Hussain Talat, who made his return to the Pakistan team after six years. Nawaz smashed five boundaries and three towering sixes in his handy knock.
Expressing his thoughts after a tremendous knock, Nawaz said, "I had made a mindset to make a match memorable by playing a match-winning knock."
