A video showing a miniature horse playing a keyboard to rouse a girl has gone viral on social media.
The clip, filmed at the Shriners for Children Medical Center in Pasadena, features a horse named Black Pearl, who uses a small keyboard to gently awaken a young patient.
Black Pearl is part of the Mini Therapy Horses programme, which regularly brings trained miniature horses to the centre to provide comfort to children receiving treatment.
Mini Therapy Horses is a non-profit organisation, established in 2008 by Victoria Nodoff Netnell. It aims to offer emotional support to children, military veterans and individuals affected by trauma through visits from specially trained miniature horses.
