Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei said negotiations with Oman on the Strait of Hormuz are continuing.
He said the talks, which began in Tehran with Omani officials, continued on the day. Baqaei said the Strait of Hormuz remains closed because of US attacks.
He said only US actions are causing damage to global trade.
Baqaei also said US and Israeli actions have worsened the situation across the region.
