A large number of tourists flocked to Kaghan Valley during the summer holidays, making it the most visited tourist destination in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to data released by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA), more than 109,000 tourists entered Kaghan Valley in a single day, including 30 foreign visitors.
The KP Culture and Tourism Authority said Kaghan Valley attracted the highest number of visitors across the province, with the influx of tourists continuing until late at night.
The scenic valley remained a major destination for families and travelers seeking to enjoy the pleasant weather and natural beauty during the summer vacation season.
Authorities enhance tourist facilitation
With the sharp rise in visitor numbers, the staff of the Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) has been deployed at various locations to facilitate tourists and provide guidance throughout the valley.
The KDA Tourism Police, along with the local police, are actively working to restore and maintain the smooth flow of traffic as thousands of vehicles continue to enter the region.
Tourists urged to stay safe
The KDA administration has appealed to tourists to avoid going near the Kunhar River and its tributaries due to safety concerns.
Authorities also urged visitors to practice responsible tourism by avoiding littering and helping preserve the natural beauty of the valley for future generations.
