Pakistan’s hockey team has suffered a setback ahead of the Pro Hockey League after two key players were ruled out due to injuries.
Head coach Manzoor Ul Hassan Senior confirmed that Hanan Shahid and Sufyan Khan will miss the tournament.
According to head coach Manzoor Ul Hassan Senior, Hanan Shahid has suffered a hamstring injury. Sufyan Khan has been ruled out because of a knee injury.
Both players will not be available for Pakistan’s upcoming Pro Hockey League matches.
Replacements added to squad
Following the injuries, Abdul Manan and Basharat Ali have been included in the Pakistan hockey squad. The head coach confirmed the changes as the team prepares for its upcoming international fixtures.
Pakistan are scheduled to play matches against Belgium and Spain in the Pro Hockey League. The national squad will leave Karachi for Belgium on June 10.
