Hyderabad Kingsmen edged Islamabad United by two runs in a tense Eliminator 2 clash at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Sunday.
According to details surfaced on Sunday, the Kingsmen, new entrants to the competition, progressed to the final where they will meet Peshawar Zalmi on Sunday. Batting first, Hyderabad Kingsmen posted 186 for 5 in their 20 overs, with Usman Khan remaining unbeaten on 61 from 30 deliveries.

Saim Ayub and Marnus Labuschagne contributed 38 and 39 runs respectively, while Kusal Perera added a brisk 37.
In reply, Islamabad United reached 184 for 7 in their allotted overs, falling short despite strong efforts from Mark Chapman and Haider Ali.
Chris Green remained not out on 21, but the side could not recover from late wickets.
Hunain Shah played a decisive role in the closing overs as Islamabad required only six runs but failed to finish the chase.
The Kingsmen have now won seven of their last eight matches in a strong run of form.
