New Zealand Cricket have become the first of the three major codes to announce the appointment of a new chief executive officer for 2026.
Geoff Allott, former Black Caps fast bowler, is to assume the role from July 1 this year, with significant responsibilities awaiting him on taking up the position.
Former New Zealand international cricketer Geoff Allott has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of New Zealand Cricket (NZC).
According to New Zealand Cricket, the former fast bowler, businessman and administrator has been named to the senior post.
Allott represented New Zealand in 10 Test matches and 31 One Day Internationals, and will formally take up his duties as chief executive from 1 July.
