Hyderabad Kingsmen all-rounder Maaz Sadaqat has said the side has settled into a balanced combination after securing three successive victories, following four defeats in a row, in the ongoing 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League.
In an exclusive conversation with Samaa TV, Sadaqat said foreign players offered valuable lessons and exposure, adding that the team had now found its rhythm.
He said that if given an opportunity to play against India in future, he would not feel pressure, recalling that during the Emerging Stars event he remained focused on his own game against the same opposition.
Sadaqat named Mohammad Rizwan as his ideal cricketer, adding that he sought guidance from him whenever in doubt. He added that he intended to continue performing in domestic cricket, adding that selection did not rest in his hands.
He said his ambition was to help Pakistan secure victories across all three formats, while adding that he learned fundamental aspects of the game from Babar Azam.
Reflecting on match conditions, Sadaqat remarked that playing without spectators felt akin to participating in domestic cricket.
