Rawalpindiz remained without a win as they suffered a seventh consecutive defeat, going down to Lahore Qalandars by 32 runs in the 27th match of the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League at the Karachi stadium on Saturday.
Lahore Qalandars posted a commanding total of 210 for 4 in their 20 overs, led by Fakhar Zaman, who struck 84 off 54 balls and was named player of the match. Mohammad Farooq contributed 63, while Abdullah Shafique added 26 to the innings.
In reply, Rawalpindiz were restricted to 178 for 9 in 20 overs despite a brisk 58 from Yasir Khan and 54 from Saad Masood.
Shaheen Shah Afridi took two wickets, Haris Rauf claimed three, and Usama Mir picked up two as the Qalandars bowled out the opposition effort.
