Quetta Gladiators defeated Lahore Qalandars by six wickets in the 26th match of the Pakistan Super League at the National Stadium, Karachi, on Friday.
Lahore Qalandars, having elected to bat first, were dismissed for 134 in 19.5 overs. Fakhar Zaman struck 20 off 11 balls, while Haseebullah Khan made 33, but the innings lacked substance as wickets fell at regular intervals.
Usman Tariq led the bowling effort with three wickets for 18 runs, while Jahandad Khan also claimed three scalps. Alzarri Joseph took two wickets, as Quetta maintained control throughout the innings.
In reply, Quetta Gladiators reached the target with ease, scoring 138 for four in 16.2 overs. Rilee Rossouw remained unbeaten on 60, anchoring the chase with composure.
Hasan Nawaz provided strong support with 49, sharing a decisive third-wicket partnership that put the result beyond doubt. Late hitting by Bevon Jacobs ensured a swift finish.
Usman Tariq was named player of the match for his decisive contribution with the ball.
