TIME Magazine has released its annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world, featuring a diverse mix of global figures from entertainment, politics, sports, technology, and culture.
The list highlights individuals across several categories, including artists, pioneers, titans, icons, leaders, and innovators, whom the magazine’s editors consider to have had significant global impact.
In the artists category, notable names include Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, K-pop star Jennie, and actors such as Keke Palmer, Noah Wyle, and Benicio Del Toro. Iranian filmmaker Jafar Panahi was also included, with the accompanying note highlighting his long-standing defiance of censorship and his continued cinematic work despite legal challenges.
The pioneers section featured YouTube personality MrBeast, while the titans category included figures such as Ben Stiller, Zoe Saldana, designer Ralph Lauren, Microsoft CEO Sundar Pichai, and global health officials involved in pandemic negotiations.
The icons list included well-known entertainers such as Kate Hudson, Hilary Duff, Ethan Hawke, Victoria Beckham, and Olympic figure skater Alysa Liu, recognizing their cultural influence and long-standing popularity.
In the leaders category, TIME included major global political figures such as Pope Leo XIV, US President Donald Trump, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, and New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani, among others.
The innovators list featured personalities from sports, cuisine, and motorsport, including chef Vikas Khanna and Formula 1 driver Lando Norris.
TIME’s annual list aims to recognize individuals shaping global conversations and influence across a wide range of fields, reflecting their impact on politics, culture, innovation, and society.
