A famous dialogue from Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has resurfaced in global headlines—this time not in cinema, but in the arena of international politics.
The Iranian Consulate in Mumbai shared a video on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), showing high-speed boats and missile activity at sea. The post highlighted Iran’s naval preparedness in the Persian Gulf and delivered a strong message in response to recent remarks by US President Donald Trump.
In a pointed statement, the consulate criticized Trump’s claims about weakening Iran’s naval strength, noting that recent developments demonstrate how a capable force can exert pressure swiftly and effectively.
The situation took an unusual turn when the Iranian Consulate incorporated a popular Bollywood line from the film Om Shanti Om: “Picture abhi baaki hai” (“The picture is still not over”), often used to signal a dramatic comeback.
The use of the dialogue quickly went viral on social media, with users reacting to the unexpected blend of global politics and Bollywood flair.
It is worth noting that Donald Trump had earlier taken to his social media platform, Truth Social, where he described Iran’s naval capabilities as diminished and issued strong statements. The Iranian Consulate’s post appears to be a direct response to those remarks.
