The number of monkeypox cases has increased in Lahore after two new infections were confirmed within the past 24 hours, including one male and one female patient.
According to health officials, the total number of monkeypox cases reported from Lahore this year has now reached 30.
Hospital sources said that five patients infected with monkeypox are currently under treatment at Mayo Hospital.
Medical experts have expressed concern over the rising trend, suggesting that local transmission may be occurring in the city. They have advised people showing symptoms of monkeypox to immediately isolate themselves and follow quarantine guidelines to prevent further spread.
