Nubia has introduced its new gaming-focused smartphone, the Neo 5 Pro, ahead of its expected global release later this year.
The device has already gone on sale in the Philippines and is also listed on ZTE’s global website, with pre-orders now open.
Positioned below the Neo 5 GT and Neo 5 Max in Nubia’s lineup, the Neo 5 Pro targets mobile gamers with a 6.8-inch 120Hz display and a 16MP front camera. On the rear, it features a 50MP main sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor.
The smartphone is powered by a Dimensity 7400 chipset built on a 4nm process, paired with up to 12GB of RAM. Nubia claims improved thermal performance through a vapour chamber cooling system measuring 4,083 mm².
A key highlight of the device is its 6,000mAh battery, which supports 80W fast wired charging as well as bypass charging, allowing extended gaming sessions with reduced battery strain.
Pricing for the Neo 5 Pro starts at PHP 14,999 (approximately $249) for the 128GB variant, while the higher 256GB model is priced at PHP 17,999 (around $299).
The company says the Neo 5 Pro will be followed by the Neo 5 GT and Neo 5 Max in the same series as part of its broader global rollout strategy.
