A fortunate couple from Wales in Britain won a major lottery prize for the second time, against odds widely viewed as impossible.
Richard Davies, 49, and his wife Faye Stevenson Davies, 43, secured £1 million again through the UK National Lottery.
The couple stated that they chose to try the lottery again based solely on instinct.
In a statement issued by the National Lottery, Faye Stevenson-Davies noted that they were aware the chances of winning again were extremely small, but described their experience as evidence that belief can matter.
The couple first won £1 million in June 2018 through the EuroMillions Millionaire Maker game.
Despite that success, they continued to buy lottery tickets, holding on to the hope that fortune might return.
Shortly before Christmas, they won £1 million once more, drawing widespread attention.
They have not yet reached a final decision on how the prize money will be used.
Richard Davies explained that after the first win they supported friends and family, gifted cars, donated a minibus to a local rugby team, and assisted others.
He added that decisions this time would be taken gradually, and that for now they wished to enjoy the moment.
