The two-minute trailer offers a sneak peek into the film's delightful narrative. "Sukhee" revolves around the life of a housewife named Sukhee, who decides to break free from her mundane routine and embarks on a journey to Delhi to have fun with her friends.
While the film delivers humour and liveliness on the surface, it also delves into more profound themes, touching on issues related to patriarchy and women's empowerment. It sheds light on society's expectations that often force women to prioritize family over their own dreams. The film's tagline reads, "Get ready to be Bedhadak. Besharam. Beparwah."
Directed by Sonal Joshi and written by Joshi, Radhika Anand, Paulomi Dutta, and Rupinder Inderjit, "Sukhee" boasts a stellar cast. Alongside Shilpa Shetty, it features social media influencers such as Kusha Kapila, Amit Sadh, Chaitannya Choudhury, Dilnaz Irani, Pavleen Gujral, Kiran Kumar, and Vinod Nagpal.
