In what is being touted as the biggest action extravaganza in the history of Hindi cinema, if it takes off, Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan have both given their approval for a much-anticipated action film, titled Tiger vs Pathaan, set to be produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF).
The film will bring these two iconic actors together after around three decades in a thrilling face-off.
Reports about Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan teaming up for this colossal project first surfaced in 2022, generating immense anticipation among fans. It was subsequently revealed that the film would pit the two stars against each other and be titled Tiger vs Pathaan, The production is scheduled to commence in 2024.
According to a report, the script for Tiger vs Pathaan was narrated individually to both Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan by Aditya Chopra, the head of YRF. Both actors were reportedly highly impressed with the script and gave it their immediate approval.
The film, directed by Siddharth Anand, promises to explore a unique dynamic between two super spies, Tiger and Pathaan, and the excitement is palpable as the actors gear up for this face-off.
With the script now officially locked, the team behind Tiger vs Pathaan is gearing up for a five-month preparation period, commencing in November following the release of Tiger 3 during Diwali.
The film is slated to go into production in March 2024.
The collaboration between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan marks a significant milestone for YRF, as it reunites these two cinematic giants in a full-fledged film three decades after their first collaboration in Karan Arjun.
