It is celebrations galore as Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's film, 'Dunki', released in theatres today. In videos going viral on social media, fans can be seen going wild during the first show early in the morning across various cities of India, with some dancing to the drumbeat, showering confetti inside the theatre, and blowing party poppers outside after watching the film.

As fans waited outside theatres to watch their favourite actor on the big screen, a fan dressed as SRK's 'Dunki' character Hardy caught the attention of all, including King Khan. He also enacted a scene from the film outside the theatre, leaving everyone cheering for him.

Fans brought party poppers and confetti bombs to the first-day show of the film. Many were seen wearing Santa Claus caps and dancing to the film's popular song, 'Lutt Putt Gaya', inside the theatres.
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, 'Dunki' features an ensemble star cast, including Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani and Satish Shah among others, in key roles.
The word Dunki applies to those who wish to enter a country on illegal grounds.
