Australia bounced back to defeat Pakistan by 41 runs in the second One-Day International at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Tuesday, levelling the three-match series at 1-1.
After being put in to bat, Australia posted 231 for nine in their allotted 50 overs. Cameron Green top-scored with 53, while captain Josh Inglis made 51 and Matt Renshaw added 43. Oliver Peake contributed 31 late in the innings as the visitors recovered from early setbacks to set Pakistan a target of 232.
For Pakistan, Shaheen Shah Afridi claimed three wickets, while Haris Rauf, Arafat Minhas and Abrar Ahmed took two wickets each.
In reply, Pakistan were dismissed for 190 in 44 overs. The hosts lost wickets at regular intervals and failed to build substantial partnerships.
Shadab Khan fought a lone battle with 71 from 104 balls, striking one four and three sixes. Arafat Minhas supported him with 33 during a seventh-wicket stand that briefly revived Pakistan's hopes.
Nathan Ellis led Australia's bowling attack with four wickets for 33 runs, while Matthew Short took three wickets. Matthew Kuhnemann, Adam Zampa and Tanveer Sangha claimed one wicket apiece.
Australia's victory levelled the series at 1-1, with the third and deciding ODI due to take place at the same venue on Thursday.
Nathan Ellis was named Player of the Match for his decisive spell with the ball.
