Pakistan all-rounder Arafat Minhas has become the first Pakistani bowler to claim a five-wicket haul on his One-Day International debut during the opening match of the three-match ODI series against Australia at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Speaking after his impressive performance, Minhas said he was delighted with his display in the first match. He said he had been practising in such conditions for a long time and was pleased to see his hard work rewarded.

Minhas said he would strive to maintain the same standard of performance in the matches ahead.
He added that the target could be achieved if the batting side secured one or two solid partnerships.
Earlier, Zakir Khan, Abdul Qadir, Abrar Ahmed, Sarfaraz Nawaz and Sufyan Moqim had each taken four wickets on their respective ODI debuts.
